Arts for Justice with IMPACT

Good Point brand identity example for IMPACT, a global organisation supporting artists in transforming culture

We forged the story and identity for this global NGO supporting artists to resolve conflict and build just societies.

In these times of endless crisis, art and culture provide nuanced, empathetic ways of learning, communicating, sharing, and changing minds. This is a core value of Good Point, and so we were delighted to help an organisation supporting this vision.

IMPACT started life as a unit within Brandeis University, supporting arts and culture bearers working to transform conflict. As it prepared to spread its wings as an independent global NGO, it required a revamp of its storytelling to fit its new scope, and a brand identity from scratch.

David worked closely with core stakeholders, interviewing them and gathering information about the organisation’s past, present activities, and future goals. He workshopped with the team, and from wide and rich materials wove a story to form the basis of their communication. From this, Good Point designed a logo and visual universe, along with an original yet easy website that breathes with the organisation’s values.

The tagline had to be part of the logo since the name of the organisation is generic. What’s more, the breaking up of the word “IMP-ACT” highlights action (ACT), while making a familiar word stand out. The stamp feel gives a solidity and feeling of consequence, while the gradient colours convey nuance. It’s always such a pleasure to see a beautiful mission come to life through impactful storytelling. And thrilling to work with visionary people for an inspiring and uplifting cause. Art is the language of humanity!
